Fremont Brewing's Field to Ferment is a seasonal Fresh Hop Pale Ale brewed in Seattle, Washington, celebrating the harvest of freshly picked hops straight from the field. Available in a 4-pack of 16 oz cans, this limited-release beer is crafted in collaboration with Pacific Northwest hop farmers and is best enjoyed as fresh as possible after release.
The beer is brewed with a grist of 2-Row Pale, Pilsner, Munich, and Acidulated malts along with White Wheat. It features Centennial fresh hops and is Cryo dry-hopped with Simcoe, delivering delicate citrus, floral, and melon aromas with fresh-cut grass and green leaf impressions. Resinous pine flavors emerge on the palate with a balanced bitterness and crisp, clean finish. ABV is 6.1% with 35 IBUs.
Field to Ferment has earned recognition including a Silver medal at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in the Fresh or Hop Ale category, and a Judges' Pick award at the 2024 Sip Magazine Best of the Northwest competition.
