Château d'Hanteillan is a distinguished Haut-Médoc estate in Bordeaux with roots tracing back to the 12th century, when it was mentioned in a papal bull of Pope Alexander III as belonging to the Abbey of Vertheuil. The estate was acquired in 1972 by the Mathieu-Blasco family, who continue to produce wines of exceptional quality relative to their price point.

This Cru Bourgeois red blend combines 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot. The wine delivers a complex nose typical of the Haut-Médoc appellation, with meaty, ripe black fruit, smoky cedarwood character, and a refreshing hint of green pepper. It carries an alcohol content of 14.5% and contains sulfites.
