Barrell Bourbon Batch #35 Kentucky 750ML

Barrell Craft Spirits Bourbon Batch #35 is a cask strength Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey bottled at 117.5 proof (58.75% ABV). This single batch release is a carefully blended multi-mash-bill bourbon crafted by Barrell Craft Spirits, an independent bottler known for sourcing and blending exceptional American whiskeys.

Batch #35 is built around a foundation of bright, peppery 6-year-old barrels, with 7 and 8-year barrels adding depth and a range of wood spices. A contribution of 13-year barrels lends notes of earth and tropical fruit, while a small amount of 10-year barrels rounds out the profile with additional oak and sweetness. The mash bill is composed of 78% corn, 18% rye, and 4% malted barley, giving it a notably spicy character.

On the nose, expect aromas of banana bread and herbaceous notes. The palate delivers bold spice, chocolate, and cinnamon, with tropical fruit notes emerging when water is added. This batch earned a 94-point rating from Whisky Advocate and won Platinum at the L.A. Spirits Awards for Best Small Batch Bourbon. Each bottle in the Barrell Bourbon Batch Series is a limited, numbered release with unique character.
