Tommasi Le Fornaci Lugana DOC is an Italian white wine crafted exclusively from Trebbiano di Lugana (Turbiana) grapes grown near Lake Garda in northern Italy. Produced by the Tommasi family estate, founded in 1902 in Valpolicella, this wine comes from their 45-hectare vineyard holdings in the Lugana appellation around Sirmione.

The grapes undergo gentle pressing followed by slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 14-18°C, preserving the varietal's freshness and aromatic character. The wine ages approximately 3 months on fine lees before bottling at 12.5% ABV.

It presents a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers aromas of lemon leaf, white fruits such as pear and apple, subtle apricot skin, white flowers, and a light mineral trace. On the palate it is elegant and well-structured with fresh acidity, succulent yellow fruit flavors, and a persistent finish with notes of citrus peel and minerality.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, shellfish, risotto, light appetizers, delicate meats, and fresh cheeses. Best served at 8-10°C and enjoyed within 2-3 years. The wine has earned scores of 90+ from James Suckling, Robert Parker, and Wine Spectator across multiple vintages.
