Trinitas Sandy Lane Old Vine Red Blend is a single-vineyard wine crafted from ancient vines planted in the 1880s at the Sandy Lane Vineyard in Oakley, California, within Contra Costa County. The vineyard has been farmed by the Gonsalves family since the 1930s and is dry-farmed in sandy soils, with deep root systems drawing from the nearby San Francisco Bay Delta water table.

The blend is composed of 44% Carignan, 22% Mataro, 18% Zinfandel, and 16% Petite Sirah. Each variety is fermented separately following optical sorting and cold soaking, then aged 18 months in oak with 20% new barrels. The wine reaches 14.9% alcohol by volume.

The wine delivers ripe berry fruit, savory complexity, silky texture, and refreshing acidity, with powerful black fruit character and vivid smoky, oaky, and peppery accents that reflect the sun-soaked old vine vineyard's distinctive terroir.
