Collina San Ponzio Barolo DOCG is a bold, dry Italian red wine from the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy, produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes under the prestigious Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) designation — one of Italy's highest wine quality classifications.
Barolo is often called the "King of Italian Wines" for its complexity, tannic structure, and exceptional aging potential. This expression from Collina San Ponzio delivers characteristic aromas of dried cherry, leather, dried herbs, and earthy notes, with a full-bodied palate and firm tannins that evolve beautifully with time in the bottle or with a few hours of decanting before serving.
Pairs excellently with braised meats, lamb, aged cheeses, wild boar, and hearty pasta dishes with meat ragù. Best served at 60–65°F in a large Burgundy-style glass. Suitable for cellaring or immediate enjoyment with a generous decant.
