Pinhook Flagship Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in a 1.0-liter bottle. Distilled at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, this bourbon is crafted from a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye, and 10% malted barley. It is aged for a minimum of three years and bottled at 101.5 proof (approximately 50.75% ABV), non-chill filtered.
Each year's vintage features slight variations that capture the unique attributes of every barrel, blended and proofed by Master Blender Sean Josephs. The profile presents warm aromas of butterscotch, dried apricot, and graham cracker, transitioning to a palate of coffee, roasted peanuts, candied cinnamon, and crème brûlée. The 2023 release received a score of 94 at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge. Intended for everyday drinking, it works well in cocktails or as a straight pour.
