Browne Family Vineyards Bitner Estate Pinot Gris is a 100% Pinot Gris sourced from the Columbia Valley AVA in Washington State. The 2022 vintage was harvested October 11-17, 2022, and aged 4.5 months in stainless steel, resulting in a clean, fruit-forward white wine with 12.8% alcohol by volume.
The wine opens with aromatics of white peach and Asian pear, leading to flavors of graphite and wet stone. It finishes clean and crisp with lingering notes of lychee fruit and fresh pear. With a total acidity of 8.04 g/L and a pH of 3.42, this wine is dry with a perceptible sweetness that balances its bright acidity. Grapes were sourced from Canyon Vineyard Ranch, Phil Church, Willow Crest, and Benches vineyards.
This versatile white wine pairs beautifully with spicy Asian cuisine, Mexican dishes, and shellfish. The 2022 vintage earned a Best Buy designation from Wine Enthusiast.
