Quattro Theory Chardonnay Napa Valley is a premium California white wine crafted by winemaker Landon Donley, produced by Trinchero Family Estates and sold in a case of six 750mL bottles. The wine is sourced from cool-climate vineyards in the Carneros appellation, drawing from three blocks of the estate Vista Montone vineyard and the Frasamani Vineyard in the southernmost part of Carneros — regions renowned for their fog-influenced, maritime conditions ideal for Chardonnay.

Donley takes a more traditional, Burgundian approach: minimal oak, no malolactic fermentation, and whole-cluster pressing with meticulous monitoring over two hours to isolate only the finest press juice. The result is a Chardonnay with bright, balanced acidity and expressive varietal character rather than the heavy, buttery style common in California. Aromas of fresh green apple and citrus blossom lead into a palate of tangy lemon zest and kiwi, with a clean, refreshing finish. The wine earned 93 points and Editors' Choice recognition from Wine Enthusiast in April 2024.

This Chardonnay pairs well with pan-seared scallops, fish and shellfish, butternut squash ravioli, mushroom and mozzarella pizza, and poultry dishes.
