It celebrates San Jose — the capital of Silicon Valley and California's third-largest city — with a custom game board, custom Monopoly money, and property spaces featuring beloved local landmarks and businesses.

The board replaces classic Monopoly properties with iconic San Jose locations including Winchester Mystery House, Original Joe's, Peters Bakery, the Children's Discovery Museum, Tech Interactive, the Municipal Rose Garden, San Pedro Square, and more. Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) trains and buses take the place of the traditional railroad spaces, giving the game a distinctly local flavor. Custom Chance and Community Chest cards add San Jose-themed twists throughout the game.
