Cazcanes No. 7 Añejo is a richly layered, premium tequila crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico from 100% blue agave. The agave is slow-cooked in a low-pressure autoclave over a 24-hour cycle to gently enhance and lock in its natural flavors. Juice is extracted using a roller mill with four passes, blended with exclusive natural volcanic spring water from Navichi Springs, then fermented in stainless steel vats with proprietary yeast and double distilled in stainless steel pots with copper coils.
Aged to taste rather than time, this añejo rests in reworked and recharred used American Oak ex-bourbon barrels for at least one year, allowing the final flavor profile to guide the blending process. The result is an elegantly balanced and complex expression that perfectly balances vibrant agave character with rich barrel notes. The tequila is certified organic, kosher, and verified additive-free.
Tasting notes: amber in color with aromas of crisp apples, almond cream, maple, toffee, vanilla, citrus, cherry, cigar box, nutmeg, anise, and chocolate. The palate delivers warm spices and vanilla with sweet undertones of coconut, finishing long and lush with soft oak, baking spices, vanilla, dark chocolate, and deep agave character. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV). Available in a case of 6 x 750ML bottles.
