Anthurium is a tropical houseplant originating from the rainforests of Central and South America, where it grows as an epiphyte under the forest canopy. Indoors, it thrives in bright, indirect light (6–8 hours per day) and prefers temperatures between 65°F and 80°F with moderate to high humidity. Water once a week in dry or warm conditions, or every 10 days in cooler, more humid environments, allowing the top inch of potting mix to dry out between waterings.
