Acumen's PEAK Cabernet Franc is a landmark bottling from this acclaimed Napa Valley winery — the first time Acumen has released Cabernet Franc as its own single-varietal wine, despite having cultivated the grape on their Atlas Peak estate for years. Sourced exclusively from high-elevation vineyards on Atlas Peak in Napa Valley, California, this wine exemplifies the structured, age-worthy character the appellation is known for.

The 2021 vintage delivers tight, dusty tannins supported by a medley of dark red and black berry fruits, with an earthy core of black tea, cigar leaf, coffee, cocoa, and pomegranate. Graphite minerality adds depth and complexity. The wine is primarily Cabernet Franc with small blended portions of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 60% new French oak. Alcohol is 14.5%. Production is extremely limited at approximately 125 cases. Wine Enthusiast awarded this wine 93 points and recommends decanting for at least two hours before serving. Drinking window is suggested from 2027 through 2038.
