Hijos de Zoila is an artisanal mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, crafted as a tribute to the mother and grandmother of founder Hernan Fernando. Born from a dream rooted in Oaxacan heritage, the brand partners with the Nolasco family — fourth-generation maguey growers and producers — who operate from their rustic palenque near San Luis del Rio.
This robust mezcal is made from 100% Maguey Espadin and bottled at 48% ABV. Production follows traditional methods: agave hearts are tahona-crushed, fermented over 7–9 days, and distilled in a copper alambique cooled by local river water. The result is a complex, smoky spirit with bold character and authentic artisanal depth.
The bottle features a hand-crafted label designed by Maestro Reyes, a native Oaxacan artist, making it as visually distinctive as it is flavorful. Each 750 mL bottle delivers a spirit that honors generations of mezcal-making tradition.
