Union Sacré Cabernet Franc is a 100% Cabernet Franc from Paso Robles, California, produced by Union Sacré Winery. Founded in 2014, the winery is led by Xavier Arnaudin, a winemaker originally from Alsace, France, who crafts this wine as a tribute to his French heritage while expressing the character of California's Central Coast.
The wine is fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness, then aged in neutral French oak barrels. It presents aromas of fresh pepper, blueberry, plum, violet, and earth. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, and ripe red currant, complemented by savory notes of tobacco leaf, dried herbs, and a touch of spice. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, with an alcohol content of approximately 13.1% ABV. The wine is sold in 750ML bottles, with cases of 12.
