Wollersheim Press House Brandy Wisconsin 750ML

Wollersheim Press House Brandy is an all-American flagship brandy produced at Wollersheim Winery, Distillery & Bistro in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. It is a re-creation of the brandy distilled on-site before Prohibition, inspired by a ledger entry from September 10, 1876 documenting brandy production at the property.

The brandy is made from American native grape varieties grown in New York State — the same varietals used by the original property owners in the 1870s. The grape juice is fermented in Wisconsin and then single-distilled in copper pot stills on-site. After distillation, the spirit is aged for a minimum of two years in new and used brandy-toasted American oak barrels. The result is a soft, sweet spirit bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

Press House Brandy is the perfect base for classic Wisconsin cocktails, particularly the Brandy Old Fashioned. It has earned numerous accolades, including Best Spirit and Gold at the 2019 Mid-American Wine & Spirits Competition, Gold (90 Points) from the 2016 Beverage Testing Institute, and Silver at the 2019 Los Angeles International Spirits Competition, among others.
