Errázuriz Las Pizarras Chardonnay is a premium white wine from the Aconcagua Costa appellation in Chile, produced from three vineyard blocks rich in slate soils located approximately 12 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. First produced in 2014, this wine has established itself as one of the finest and most elegant Chardonnays from South America.
The wine is 100% barrel-aged with 20% new oak, resulting in a medium- to full-bodied profile with complex aromas of sliced melon, pear, chalk, and matchstick, along with notes of honeysuckle and cream. On the palate it delivers lime, lemon curd, and hints of vanilla with an intensely mineral and salty character. The 2022 vintage received 98 points from James Suckling and was ranked #13 in the Top 100 Wines of Chile for 2024. 13.0% ABV.
