Davis Bynum Sauvignon Blanc Russian River Valley, CA 750ml

Davis Bynum Virginia's Block Sauvignon Blanc is a single-vineyard white wine sourced exclusively from a five-acre block within Jane's Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California. The block was named in honor of Davis Bynum's second love, Virginia, and is planted in east-west rows of shallow, gravelly Huichica loam that drains quickly and encourages the vines to produce intensely flavored fruit.

The wine is crafted by winemaker Greg Morthole using a light-handed approach designed to let the vineyard speak. Grapes are lightly pressed and settled overnight before fermentation in a combination of Acacia puncheons, two-year-old French oak barrels, and stainless steel drums. The result is a vibrant, aromatic white wine that opens with aromas of passionfruit, guava, lime peel, and honeydew melon, with a bright citrusy acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.

Pairs well with fresh oysters, shellfish, tangy cheeses, and pickled vegetable dishes. Vegan friendly, made with no animal-derived products. 750ml bottle.
