Testarossa Niclaire Pinot Noir is the winery's flagship barrel selection, representing the finest barrels chosen each vintage from Testarossa's coastal California program. The name "Niclaire" combines the names of winemaker Rob Jensen's children, Nick and Claire, reflecting the personal significance of this wine. It is made entirely from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from certified sustainable and organic vineyards, with a significant portion drawn from the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation in Monterey County.

The wine is aged in 100% French oak barrels with a high percentage of new oak, producing a rich, structured style with impressive depth. Tasting notes feature aromas of dark cherry, pomegranate, cherry cola, vanilla bean, and toasty oak spice, with a palate that delivers silky texture, abundant complexity, and an extended finish. Recent vintages have earned scores of 92–94 points from critics including James Suckling and Vinous/Antonio Galloni. Alcohol is approximately 14.3%.
