Fidélitas Ciel du Cheval Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain 750ml

Fidélitas Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a single-vineyard red wine from Red Mountain, Washington, produced by the family-owned Fidélitas Wines. This is their longest-running single-vineyard release, with the first vintage produced in 2006. The wine draws from blocks that include some of the original 1975 plantings of Ciel du Cheval Vineyard, one of Washington State's most celebrated sites.

The wine offers aromas of plum, black cherry, and vanilla bean. On the palate, polished and supple tannins frame the midpalate, leading to a fresh, mouthwatering finish with notes of currant, strawberry, and dark chocolate. Sagebrush, mocha, and tar notes add depth and complexity. It strikes a balance between Red Mountain power and concentration and old vine elegance.

Sold in cases of 12 bottles, each 750ml. Scored 95 points by Owen Bargreen. Approximately 563 cases produced per vintage. Recommended drinking window extends through 2035; best enjoyed with a 45-minute decant. Pairs well with beef and venison.
