Avignonesi's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is crafted from Prugnolo Gentile, the local clone of Sangiovese grown in the hills surrounding Montepulciano in southern Tuscany. Avignonesi is one of the most celebrated estates in the appellation, now operating as the largest certified biodynamic and regenerative wine estate in Italy under the direction of Belgian owner Virginie Saverys.

This full-bodied red wine displays classic Sangiovese character with vibrant red fruit, dried cherry, and earthy notes underpinned by firm but refined tannins and lively acidity. Aging in large Slavonian oak casks adds subtle structure and depth without masking the grape's expressive character. The wine carries DOCG status under the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano appellation, one of Tuscany's most prestigious designations.
