Ponzi Vineyards Tavola Pinot Noir is an estate-crafted red wine from the Willamette Valley AVA in Oregon, made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. "Tavola" is Italian for "table," reflecting the wine's approachable, food-friendly character designed to complement a wide range of dishes.
Sourced from Ponzi's LIVE Certified Sustainable Avellana Vineyard along with other sustainably farmed vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains, Yamhill-Carlton, and Eola-Amity Hills AVAs, this wine is vinified with 25% new French oak to lend structure while preserving bright fruit character. It carries 13.7% alcohol by volume and is sealed with a screwcap closure for easy opening and freshness.
On the nose, spiced blueberries, plum, and cranberry leap from the glass, followed by denser notes of dry forest floor, sagebrush, and leather. The palate offers fresh acidity with flavors of citrus, raspberry, Amarena cherry, and rich earth. The 2022 vintage earned 92 points from James Suckling and 91 points from Wine Spectator, with critics praising its "succulent cherry and raspberry flavors highlighted by orange peel and cinnamon notes" and clean, mineral-driven finish. Drink now through 2031.
Sold in cases of 12 x 750ml bottles.
