Four Roses Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). This small batch bourbon is crafted by blending four of Four Roses' ten unique bourbon recipes, using a combination of two different mash bills and two yeast strains. The blend includes recipes OBSK, OESK, OBSO, and OESO, which utilize mash bills of 60% corn, 35% rye, 5% malted barley and 75% corn, 20% rye, 5% malted barley. Barrels are typically aged 6 to 7 years, with an average batch age of approximately 6.5 years.

The bourbon presents a nose of oak, citrus fruit, and hints of spice layered over caramel. On the palate, it delivers a creamy mouthfeel with balanced flavors of oak, summer fruits, cherries, caramel, and rye spice. The finish is long and complex, with oak, summer fruits, and caramel coming forward against a backdrop of rye spice and seasoned oak. The bourbon offers perfectly balanced flavors without any single element overpowering the others, creating an approachable yet sophisticated drinking experience. Aged in single-story rickhouses in barrels with a 45-second char level between #3 and #4.
