Domaine de la Janasse is a benchmark producer in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, located in Courthézon in the southern Rhône Valley of France. This red wine opens with pure, focused aromas of red berries and cherries, accompanied by notes of violets, white pepper, and fresh thyme. As it develops, hints of black olive, leather, and characteristic Janasse minerality emerge. The palate delivers fine-grained tannins supporting bright fruit flavors, with vibrant acidity lending energy and precision. The finish extends with red fruits, herbs, and mineral notes. Bottled at approximately 14.5% ABV in a standard 750ml format, and typically sold in cases of 12.
