Baron Blue King Box is a "light" (low-tar) blend of cigarettes sold in a king-size box format and distributed by MBI, Inc. through Costco warehouse locations. The Baron American Blend line is manufactured by Farmer's Tobacco Co. of Cynthiana, Inc. in Kentucky, using a proprietary blend of Burley, Flue-Cured, and Oriental tobaccos along with a small percentage of high-sugar Flue-Cured tobacco stems known as "Krest," which contribute a slightly sweeter character to the smoke.

The Blue (Light) variety is designed for smokers who prefer a milder, lower-tar experience compared to the full-flavor Red variant. Baron cigarettes are an economy-priced, domestically manufactured alternative sold in carton format at Costco and select tobacco retailers.
