Stemilt Premium Piñata Apples 5.5 Lbs

Stemilt Premium Piñata apples are a Washington Extra Fancy apple variety grown by Stemilt Growers in Wenatchee, WA. Each tray contains approximately 15 apples with a minimum diameter of 2 7/8 inches and a net weight of 5.5 pounds.

Piñata apples are known for their firm, crunchy texture and juicy bite with a distinctive tropical flavor reminiscent of pineapple and mango. The variety was developed from a cross of Golden Delicious, Cox's Orange Pippin, and Duchess of Oldenburg heritage apples, giving it a uniquely sweet-tart flavor profile that stands apart from standard apple varieties. They are slow to brown after slicing, making them excellent for fresh eating, fruit salads, and light cooking applications.

These apples meet or exceed U.S. Extra Fancy grade standards and are coated with a food-grade vegetable and/or shellac-based wax to maintain freshness. They are a product of the USA, distributed by Stemilt Growers, LLC. Piñata apples are available approximately November through July, with peak quality in early winter months.
