Thorn-Clarke Shotfire Shiraz is a full-bodied red wine from the Barossa Valley, South Australia, crafted from 100% Shiraz grapes. The wine presents an inky red color with deep purple hues at the rim, while the nose is dominated by dense blackberry and plum fruits layered with five spice, smoke, and dark chocolate.

The palate is rich and generous, showcasing quintessential Barossa Shiraz character. Ripe black plum, black pepper, and liquorice are abundant, supported by integrated and complex American oak. The wine is plush and mouth-filling, with long, savoury tannins providing structure and a finish that lingers. At 15.5% alcohol, this is a bold, concentrated expression that drinks beautifully now and will reward cellaring.

Thorn-Clarke is one of the largest family-owned estate-based businesses in the Barossa Valley, with six generations of grape growing and a family history in the region dating back to the 1850s. The Shotfire range earned its reputation on the back of rave critical reviews and is consistently recognized as outstanding value from this iconic Australian appellation.
