Cakebread Cellars Chardonnay Napa Valley is a flagship white wine that launched the winery's legacy when the Cakebread family first crafted it in 1973. Grown in the cool Carneros appellation at the southern edge of Napa Valley, the vines benefit from morning Pacific fog that promotes slow ripening and preserves the wine's signature fresh acidity. The Haire Loam soils naturally manage vine vigor, resulting in grapes with intense concentration and wines that age gracefully.

The wine displays a light golden hue and opens with lively aromas of ripe pear and chamomile. Flavors of ripe melon, lemon curd, and apple frame the palate with hints of baking spice and lightly toasted brioche. Fresh acidity and crisp citrus notes are well-balanced by a hint of oak, leading to a long, harmonious finish. Alcohol content is 13.6% ABV. The wine is certified vegan, sustainably farmed, and family owned.
