1000 Stories Zinfandel is a bourbon barrel-aged California red wine crafted in the bold tradition of the 1000 Stories winery. Sourced primarily from Lodi's historic old-vine Zinfandel sites, with additional fruit from Mendocino County and San Luis Obispo, the wine balances the warm-climate berry richness of Lodi with softer, more refined characteristics from cooler coastal regions.

The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels, then finished in aged bourbon barrels — a signature technique that sets 1000 Stories apart. The result is a light to medium-bodied red with a soft tannin structure and a lengthy finish. Tasting notes include cranberries, prunes, Marcona almonds, toffee, oregano, and thyme, with a brilliant garnet color and slight violet hue. Cellaring potential is approximately 3 years. Each bottle is released in small numbered batches, much like premium bourbon. Pairs well with BBQ pulled pork, BBQ ribs, and hearty grilled dishes. Sold as a case of 12 x 750ml bottles.
