Department 66 "The Others" is a bold red blend from the Côtes Catalanes appellation in Roussillon, Southern France, crafted by renowned winemaker Dave Phinney. The wine is a blend of primarily Grenache along with Syrah and Carignan, sourced from estate-owned vines ranging from 10 to 65+ years of age across 300 acres in the Pyrénées foothills near the Spanish border.

The wine is aged in 30% new French oak for 18 months, followed by an additional 5 months in bottle before release. It offers aromas of cherry cola, fresh flowers, brambly garrigue, and characteristic flinty minerality. On the palate it opens with bright raspberry and rhubarb, revealing nuanced hints of confectioners chocolate, schist, and dried herbs, supported by a satisfying vein of acidity.
