Straight to Ale Monkeynaut IPA is an American India Pale Ale brewed by Straight to Ale Brewing in Huntsville, Alabama. Named 2019's best beer in Alabama by RateBeer, Monkeynaut is a tribute to the primate pioneers of the U.S. space program — including Albert, Able, Gordo, Miss Baker, Bonny, and Goliath — who bravely paved the way for manned spaceflight between 1948 and 1961.
This hoppy IPA delivers a citrusy, floral hop aroma with a strong malt body and a crisp finish. At 7.25% ABV and 75 IBUs, it offers a bold, well-balanced bitterness with a refreshing character. Best served at 50–55°F, and pairs beautifully with spicy dishes like jerk chicken or curry.
