Foxen Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley 750 ML

Foxen Winery's Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir is a classic expression of California's Central Coast terroir. Named in honor of William Benjamin Foxen, an English sea captain and pioneer who purchased Rancho Tinaquaic in 1837, Foxen has made its home on the historic 2,000-acre property in Santa Barbara County, using the captain's distinctive anchor as its trademark.

This elegant Pinot Noir showcases lighter ruby color with a bouquet of spiced cherry and strawberry fruits woven together with subtle forest floor and floral notes. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a pure, graceful texture, nicely integrated acidity, and a long, refined finish. It draws primarily from the acclaimed Riverbench Vineyard with additional fruit from the Bien Nacido Vineyard, two of Santa Maria Valley's most respected sites.

Scored 93 Points by Jeb Dunnuck, this wine serves as an excellent introduction to both Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir and the Foxen style. Sold in a case of 12 bottles.
