Mount Peak Sentinel Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, full-bodied red wine from Mount Peak Winery, crafted from grapes sourced in California, primarily from the prestigious Monte Rosso Vineyard in Sonoma County with fruit from growing partners in Napa Valley.
The wine is inspired by the shield-shaped block overseeing the entrance to Monte Rosso Vineyard, a site renowned for producing grapes with the layers and power that are the hallmark of great Cabernet Sauvignon. Expect dense dark fruit aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and wild blueberries, with pronounced earth tones and a Mayan chocolate spiciness on the firm, lasting finish. Fine-grained tannins and concentrated structure make this an age-worthy bottle suited for pairing with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
