Taken Wine Company's Complicated Red Blend is a bold, full-bodied red wine sourced from California's Central Coast appellation. This multi-varietal blend brings together grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, Malbec, and Petite Sirah to create a rich and layered wine with an alcohol content around 14.3%.
On the nose, the wine offers ripe notes of raspberry, blackberry, black currant, and plum with floral undertones. The palate is defined by flavors of quince, roasted fig, and extra dark chocolate with a hint of allspice. Tannins are firm when young, and the wine benefits from decanting or additional bottle aging to allow the fruit and structure to fully integrate.
