The Untold Story Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley 750ML

Betz Family Winery "The Untold Story" Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium red wine from Washington's Columbia Valley. This blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 7% Petit Verdot is sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards with vines between 15 and 25 years old, planted in loess over sedimentary gravel soils.

The wine is aged 19 months in 100% French oak (25% new) followed by 12 months of bottle aging before release. It presents a deeply colored, near-opaque purple core with rich aromatics of black fruits, dark blackberry, plum, and cassis, complemented by graphite and crushed herbs. The palate is layered and plush with fresh acidity and a fine tannic backbone, finishing with fresh herbs, crushed berries, and spice.

Founded in 1997 by Bob and Cathy Betz, Betz Family Winery produces approximately 4,000 nine-liter cases of this wine. The concept behind "The Untold Story" celebrates the stories shared around the dinner table over a meal and a bottle of wine.
