Santanera Tahona Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila produced at Destilería Santanera, distilled under NOM 1123 at Tequila Cascahuin S.A. in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico. Bottled at 41% ABV, this blanco showcases a traditional tahona production process, where harvested agave piñas are slow-cooked in stone or brick ovens and then crushed using a heavy stone wheel — a labor-intensive method that imparts distinctive earthiness and texture compared to modern industrial milling.

The fermentation takes place in cement tanks using 100% agave juice, followed by double distillation in stainless steel pot stills with deep well water. The result is an unaged blanco that preserves the raw character of the agave. Aromas lead with cooked agave, citrus, minerals, grass, black pepper, and earth, with subtle hints of anise and cinnamon. On the palate, black pepper and cooked agave dominate, supported by notes of anise, brine, earth, and citrus with a mineral finish. Sold in cases of 6 x 750ML bottles.
