Vickery Watervale Riesling is a classic Clare Valley white wine crafted in the distinctive John Vickery style. John Vickery is the acknowledged "Old Master" of Australian Riesling, with a career spanning over fifty years and an extraordinary tally of more than 50 trophies and over 400 gold medals. The Vickery legacy is now carried forward by winemaker Keeda Zilm.
This wine displays a brilliant pale straw color with greenish-tinged edges. It offers intense lime, citrus, and orange rind aromas trailed by distinct talc, green apple, and chalky mineral notes. On the palate it is zesty and fresh, textural with delicate tannins, buoyant acid, and generous flavor. The fresh lime acidity completes a long and persistent finish.
