Ladoucette Pouilly-Fumé is a benchmark white wine from the Loire Valley in France, produced at the renowned Château du Nozet by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette. Made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Pouilly-Fumé appellation, this wine is celebrated for its exceptional purity and elegance.
The wine offers vibrant aromas of citrus, green apple, gooseberry, and white flowers, with characteristic flinty, gunflint minerality that defines the appellation. On the palate it is crisp and dry with bright acidity, notes of grapefruit, green herbs, and a long, mineral-driven finish. It pairs beautifully with shellfish, grilled fish, goat cheese, and light poultry dishes.
Baron de Ladoucette has been producing Pouilly-Fumé since 1787 and is widely considered one of the finest producers in the Loire Valley. The Château du Nozet estate spans over 100 hectares of vineyards planted on Kimmeridgian limestone and clay-flint soils, which contribute to the wine's signature minerality.
