Bersano Barolo Cannubi Riserva is a prestigious single-vineyard Barolo DOCG wine from Piedmont, Italy, crafted entirely from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the legendary Cannubi cru in the municipality of Barolo. The Cannubi vineyard is considered one of the most important and historically renowned growing sites in the entire Barolo appellation, prized for its calcareous soils with clay-silt components.

The wine is harvested manually in late October and vinified through maceration on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel fermenters with repeated pump-overs and aeration until full conversion of sugars to alcohol. It then undergoes a minimum of 36 months aging in oak barrels followed by 18 months of bottle aging before release, qualifying it as a Riserva.

Deep red with light garnet reflections, the wine opens on the nose with hints of ripe cherry, plum, tobacco, licorice, and balsamic notes. On the palate it is elegant and ethereal, revealing great structure with a long, persistent finish and perfectly balanced tannins. It carries 14% ABV and is recommended alongside wild game, red meats, elaborate main courses, and flavorful cheeses. Best served at 16–18°C, it has a longevity of more than 20 years.
