Flat Top Hills Pinot Noir is a California red wine produced by the C. Mondavi Family, a four-generation family winemaking dynasty whose vineyards are rooted in the Dunnigan Hills of California. The brand name is inspired by the remote, flat-summited hills where the Mondavi family gathered during childhood.
This Pinot Noir is a well-rounded, fresh, and vibrant wine with darker and earthier undertones. The nose offers aromas of fresh red and pink roses, cranberry, wild strawberry, and just-ripe black plum, while the palate delivers notes of mission fig, vanilla, and dried forest floor. Full-bodied with firm, well-integrated tannins that add texture and structure, the wine finishes smooth and approachable. ABV is 14.5%.
Rated 91 points by Wine Enthusiast for the 2021 vintage, it pairs well with roasted meats, mushroom dishes, and pasta with red sauce.
