Château Haut-Bailly II 2021 is the second wine of Château Haut-Bailly, a prestigious Cru Classé de Graves estate in the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Bordeaux, France. Previously known as La Parde de Haut-Bailly until 2019, this wine is crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on gravel, sandstone, and sand over limestone soils.

The 2021 vintage offers aromas of black cherries, espresso, flowers, and a dash of cocoa. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, sweet, soft, and elegant, with a refined character and pleasant lift in the finish. It received 91 points from The Wine Cellar Insider. Recommended drinking window is 2024 through 2035.

Château Haut-Bailly has been producing wine since the 15th century and is owned by the Wilmers family. The estate inaugurated state-of-the-art cellars with the 2021 vintage, marking a new era of quality. The wine is aged in French oak barrels and undergoes traditional Bordeaux vinification methods including cold soaking and malolactic fermentation.
