Barrell Bourbon Cask Finish Series: Mizunara is a premium cask-strength bourbon expertly blended from straight bourbon whiskeys distilled in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee, then further matured in rare Mizunara oak barrels for one and a half years. Bottled at 116.42 proof, this limited release showcases the unique character of Japanese Mizunara hardwood, imparting subtle notes of sandalwood, herbal spice, and coconut.

The nose opens with fresh strawberry, white peach, golden raisin, honey, vanilla, and sugar cookies over toasted corn and palo santo. The viscous palate delivers vibrant lemongrass, star anise, and peppermint, followed by honey, sweet cornbread, and Medjool dates with a woodsy earthiness. The finish features spearmint, palo santo, lime zest, and ginger.

This release earned a Double Gold at the 2024 New York World Spirits Competition, a Double Gold at the 2024 John Barleycorn Awards, a 95 from Wine Enthusiast, and a 92 from Whisky Advocate.
