Williams Selyem is an iconic Sonoma County winery celebrated for producing some of the finest Pinot Noirs in the United States, and the Foss Vineyard bottling represents a pinnacle expression of their single-vineyard program.

The Foss Vineyard sits above Eastside Road in the Middle Reach region of the Russian River Valley. The 12.2-acre estate was purchased by Bill and Becky Foss in 2005 and planted with vines starting in 2007, with the first Foss Vineyard designate vintage released in 2011. The vineyard is planted to a heritage selection of Pommard, Swan, Mt. Eden, and 667 Pinot Noir clones on 101-14 rootstock, positioned on rolling hills at approximately 100 feet elevation in clay loam soils. The combination of well-drained clay loam, a temperate microclimate, and this exceptional clone diversity yields wines of remarkable richness and complexity.
