Kimsey Vineyard Syrah is a red wine produced from the estate-grown Syrah vines of Kimsey Vineyard, a 22-acre property established in 2008 by William and Nancy Kimsey in the Ballard Canyon AVA of Santa Barbara County, California. The vineyard was deliberately planted on the cooler, south-western side of Ballard Canyon with Rhône varietals — Syrah, Grenache, Viognier, and Roussanne — selected for their affinity with the region's climate and soils.

Ballard Canyon, officially recognized as an AVA in 2013, covers approximately 7,800 acres within the broader Santa Ynez Valley and is highly regarded for producing world-class Syrah. The cool maritime influence from the Pacific tempers the growing season, resulting in wines with deep color, layered complexity, and firm structure. Kimsey Vineyard Syrah is prized by multiple acclaimed producers who source fruit from this site.

The wine typically exhibits aromas of black plum, blueberry, and smoked meat, with a palate of black cherry, cocoa, black pepper, and earthy spice. It finishes long and savory with firm tannins. Alcohol content is typically in the 14.5–15.2% range. Each case is packed 12 bottles of 750ML.
