Volker Eisele Family Estate Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine sourced from the Chiles Valley District of Napa Valley, California. The estate has been organically farmed since 1974, and all fruit is hand-harvested from vines averaging 25 years in age. The wine is a blend of approximately 82% Sauvignon Blanc and 18% Sémillon.
The grapes are whole-cluster pressed and slowly co-fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal character. The nose offers abundant aromas of Meyer lemon, passionfruit, and jasmine, while the Sémillon component lends a rich, textured palate with flavors of orange blossom, mandarin orange, and wet stone minerality. The 2023 vintage earned 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, praised for its guava, papaya, lemongrass, and salted lime complexity with persistent, mouthwatering acidity and a silken mouthfeel.
