Deanston 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky produced at Deanston Distillery, situated on the banks of the River Teith in Perthshire, Scotland. The distillery occupies a historic building dating to 1785, originally constructed as a cotton mill before being converted to whisky production in 1966. The distillery draws its water directly from the River Teith and is powered by on-site water turbines, with surplus energy used to power the surrounding local community.

Crafted using 100% Scottish barley and aged for a minimum of 12 years exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, Deanston 12 is bottled at 46.3% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and contains no artificial coloring, preserving its natural character and texture. Each bottle reflects Deanston's commitment to honest, additive-free whisky making.

On the nose, the whisky presents an abundance of creamy taffy, honeycomb, caramel, toasty oak, malty barley, and hints of chocolate. The palate delivers a smooth, creamy sweetness with notes of orange stewed in honey and spice, cereal, treacle, and lemon grass. The finish is long and satisfying, offering lemon zest, roasted nuts, honey, and a pleasant tingle of cloves, with an aftertaste reminiscent of crème brûlée and almond biscotti.
