Sourced from the north-facing, fog-cooled Lemmons' Vineyard, this single-vineyard wine grows in gravelly loamed soil upturned by the neighboring Greenville fault — well-draining terrain that keeps the vines alive without excess moisture, concentrating the fruit into something expressive and precise.

The wine is crafted at Darcie Kent Estate Winery by Hungarian-born winemaker Julian Halasz under the guidance of fifth-generation vintner and artist Darcie Kent. The family-owned, women-led winery has operated in Livermore Valley since 1996, producing small-lot wines from sustainably farmed estate vineyards. Their Cabernet Francs consistently earn 90+ point scores along with Double Gold and Best of Show honors at competitions.
