J. Moreau & Fils Chablis is a classic white Burgundy from the Chablis appellation in northern Burgundy, France. Produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes, this wine reflects the distinctive cool-climate terroir of the Chablis region, known for producing crisp, mineral-driven whites with a characteristic lean and refreshing style. J. Moreau & Fils is one of the most recognized négociant houses in Chablis, with roots tracing back to 1814.
The wine presents a pale gold color with a fruity, forward nose. On the palate, it delivers lemony freshness and vivacity underpinned by light minerality — hallmarks of the Chablis style. It is approachable and food-friendly, best enjoyed young to preserve its bright fruit character. Alcohol content is approximately 12.5% ABV.
This wine pairs excellently with seafood, shellfish, fresh oysters, light poultry dishes, and soft cheeses, or enjoyed on its own as an aperitif.
