Schug Winery's Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a California white wine produced from select vineyards across the Sonoma Coast AVA, drawing from cooler microclimates in western Carneros, southern Sonoma Valley, and the Petaluma Gap. Founded in 1980 by Walter Schug — former founding winemaker at Joseph Phelps Vineyards — Schug Winery has long emphasized minimal oak treatment to let bright varietal character shine through. This Chardonnay is unoaked to lightly oaked, offering a medium-to-full body with vibrant acidity.

On the nose, expect aromas of spicy apple, grapefruit, white peach, lemon sorbet, honeysuckle, and gardenia with hints of nutmeg and cream. The palate delivers fresh fennel, ripe apple, Meyer lemon, pear, and candied pineapple with a creamy texture and toasted almond notes. The finish lingers with stony minerality, salty lemon pith, and soft peach.
