Mionetto Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut is a premium Italian sparkling wine from the prestigious Prosecco Superiore DOCG zone in Valdobbiadene, part of the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. Founded in 1887 by Francesco Mionetto in the village of Valdobbiadene, Mionetto has built an enduring reputation for quality and innovation at the heart of the Prosecco region.
Crafted entirely from the Glera grape, this wine undergoes careful hand-selection and gentle pressing to extract only the free-run must. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks without maceration, then finished using the traditional Charmat (tank) method to preserve its fresh, vibrant character. The result is a luminous straw-yellow wine with light green hues, a fine and persistent bead of pinpoint bubbles, and a rich bouquet of ripe stone fruits, honey, and acacia blossoms. On the palate, golden delicious apple and pear come forward, with a pleasant, slightly bitter almond finish. The wine contains 11% alcohol, with acidity of 5.6–6.5 g/l and residual sugar of 9–12 g/l, served best at 6–8°C.
This versatile sparkling wine shines as a refined aperitif and pairs beautifully with fish and vegetable starters, raw seafood, marinated fish, asparagus, Treviso radicchio, and Mediterranean cuisine more broadly. Contains sulphites.
